How to sell
If your kid’s closet is packed full of clothes that don't fit and are barely worn, then it’s time to sell them for CASH or trade up big with Double in Store Credit. Selling is as simple as following these few steps.
Step One
Go Through Your Kids Closet
Sort through your children’s clothes, shoes, toys and accessories to find those awesome items collecting dust and knowing it’s time to part with. We buy girls and boys jeans, shirts, tees, shorts, pants, hoodies, coats, dresses, skirts, jackets, shoes, boots, and accessories (jewelry, belts, hats, scarves, sunglasses, and Bows, and more!). We're only interested in items that we can resell, of course, so be sure everything is freshly laundered, stain and wrinkle-free, and most importantly, in style and working order.
Step Two
Bring Your Items In.
It’s easy! You do not need an appointment, just bring your children’s clothing, accessories and toys anytime we are open.. One of My Kid's Closets friendly certified buyers will take care of the rest. Our talented buyers and exclusive software help us price your items based on style, brand, condition and our current inventory, so please don't be offended if we can't buy everything from you.
Most orders take less than 15 minutes to process and present you our offer (that’s why we have a 3 container limit). Of course, there are times we have several other customers in line and it might take a little bit longer. But please be patient--we can only pay out cash so fast! Browse the racks while you wait. If you are in a hurry, you can drop off your things and pick up your cash later. Just tell an associate you are stepping out so we can text you when your order is ready. We just ask that you are back within the hour. Any orders left overnight… will forfeit their cash offer and will only be offered Double Store Credit. Sorry, no exceptions.
Step Three
Pocket the Cash or Trade Up BIG.
After we are done looking over your items we will make you a CASH offer for the things that meet our buying criteria. You will get the most money for designer brands and items in excellent condition. We want this exchange to benefit both parties, so if you don't feel comfortable with our offer, just tell us. You can then take some or all of your items back (you won't hurt our feelings).
Found some cute things while you were browsing? No problem, we offer Double the amount in Store Credit that you can spend immediately, or take your payment on a gift card that never expires, loses value and can be used at all locations including My Best Friend’s Closet. Then you can bring back your kiddos every time they change sizes (so we will see you next week, I’m sure LOL), and have a shopping spree to restock their closets.
